Terms of Service

01 The Service

Vocyx is a voice-first AI articulation trainer. It provides speaking drills, objective metrics computed from your speech, and AI-generated feedback and scores to help you speak more clearly and concisely.

02 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to be at least 16 years old to use Vocyx.

03 Acceptable Use

When using Vocyx, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload recordings of other people without their consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.
• Resell or provide the service to others except as expressly permitted.

04 Your Content and Voice Recordings

You retain ownership of the recordings and content you submit. You grant Vocyx a limited license to store and process that content — including sending it to our AI providers — solely to operate and improve the service and to deliver your feedback.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit any audio you provide.

05 AI Feedback Is Not Professional Advice

The metrics, scores, and coaching Vocyx generates are automated practice guidance, provided “as is.” They are not professional, medical, legal, or career advice, and should not be relied on as such. You are responsible for how you use the feedback.

06 Plans and Payments

Vocyx is free to start. If we offer paid plans, the price, billing cycle, and terms will be presented to you before purchase, and applicable fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

07 Intellectual Property

The Vocyx service, name, logo, and all related content — excluding your content — are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial practice.

08 Termination

You may stop using Vocyx and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could cause harm to Vocyx or other users.

09 Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that feedback will be accurate.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vocyx will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11 Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Vocyx means you accept the updated Terms.

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vocyx operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Final jurisdiction to be confirmed by counsel.)
